Jenna Krick

Director of Children


Jenna started volunteering in preschool ministry as a teen and spent several summers working with children on the mission field overseas. She is a a credentialed teacher and Certified National Writing Project Teacher Consultant. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Cornerstone University and Master’s degree in Language Arts education from Grand Valley State University. As a Language Arts teacher, Jenna taught at both the middle and high school levels, followed by teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in education. Aside from loving all things child-related, Jenna enjoys yoga, running, hiking, and reading with her husband, and swimming and doing arts and crafts with her four children. Jenna most enjoys sharing Christ’s love with others. Being from Michigan originally, her favorite quote is "thumbs up!"

Matt Krick

Lead Pastor


Matt and his family moved to Marin in 2011 to join the BayMarin community. Matt is passionate about facilitating opportunities for people to learn more about living in loving union with God and joining in communities of faith that bring the hope and healing of Jesus to the world. Before coming to BayMarin, Matt was a Spiritual Formation Pastor at Mars Hill Church in Grand Rapids, MI where he also served as an adjunct faculty member teaching Bible and Theology at his alma mater Cornerstone University. At Cornerstone he studied Literature and Religion. Matt also holds a Master's from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Doctorate from George Fox Seminary.

Matt, his wife Jenna, and their four children live on a small plot of good earth that they cultivate together as a family. They love hiking and exploring the Bay Area together. Every day is an adventure!

Jonathan Moe

Director of Music


Jonathan is a graduate of the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, and spent many years traveling and playing music professionally. He and his wife Pam joined BayMarin in 1999, and in 2008 Jonathan became the music director. Playing great worship music is a passion for him, and his team hopes to be a vibrant and engaging inspiration for BayMarin. He also hopes that his ministry would be a place of community and fellowship for everyone involved.

Dave Robinson

David is an accomplished painter, sculptor, and teacher who uses his skills to teach about spiritual realities. He holds degrees in Educational Leadership, a Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry Degree from Golden Gate Seminary. He is the Director of "Interfaces," a ministry to artists and others in San Rafael, of which BayMarin is an official sponsor. David serves as the point leader for Rhema, the Sunday PM service at BayMarin, which is designed to be a more interactive, relational, and "acoustic" experience. David also serves on the teaching team at BayMarin and is a part of the Creative Team for Sunday AM Gatherings, where his talents in visual artistry are frequently experienced and displayed.

Phil Steiner

Director of Outreach


Phil Steiner has more than 14 years of professional ministry experience, including being Campus Life Director in Indiana and youth pastor at two churches, and has a BA in Psychology from Taylor University. He has a great passion for leading young people into a relationship with Jesus through interactive, experiential and missional ways, as well as for understanding the unique dynamics of youth culture here in Marin. He and his wife Mindy also head Be2Live, and non-profit organization which helps people experience God through serving others in activities such as mission trips to Mexico. Phil's hope is that students not only grow in their relationship with Jesus, but join God in his redemptive work in their world. Through his work with Be2Live, Phil has developed a passion for outreach and is very enthusiastic about his role as Director of Outreach.

Bryan Tabor

Pastor of Students and Community Life


After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2009 with a BS in Sociology, Bryan moved to the Bay Area to pursue a Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, finishing his coursework in May 2014 with a concentration in Biblical Studies. Bryan desires to lead others into a biblical and theological understanding of who God is, to know and apply the truth of Scripture and to love and serve others. He has a passion to work with students from all walks of life and ages and has actively been involved in working with students since 2005. Bryan loves all things maroon, most likely due to his love of Texas A&M. Although the 49ers have grown on him, he still believes the Dallas Cowboys will win the Superbowl.
